On February 2, 2007, we had the unique priviledge of catching up with 80's slow jam ambassador, Mo'Reace.  In this candid interview at a mall in Montreal 5 years ago yesterday, we gained priceless insight from the now jheri-curl-less Mo'Reace on the importance of the slow jam.

i got the chance to do more writing this year and some speaking too. i finished school which looked smthg like this.

i watched a lot of college basketball at sxsw and a great nba finals back in vancouver. no one in town burned anything when miami lost which was nice...  i was, however, inspired by all the ppl that took to the streets in real protest last year.... i spent the year again generally quite entertained by the internet; youtube got more annoying and comments on news articles are still really racist, but otherwise good times with the first world problems and friday and the baby rapping gibberish…

i played in rwanda for the first time, and lots more awesome stuff transpired such as this

of course this yr was so special for me largely because you guys again took the time to listen to my music and support it. it is actually impossible for me to thank you enough for that. i also want to shout out the awesome ppl i work with musically and behind the scenes for always holding it down. you all have made my life very fun and interesting and challenging in the best way.

a great year and im looking fwd to the next one! im inspired to work on a new album and excited for unclehood. the adventure continues! 

life is so weird. im grateful for another year of it.
